When is a dental crown needed?
It is needed to protect a weak tooth which is destroyed by decay.
It is also needed in hold together parts of cracked tooth, to restore an already broken tooth.
Crown can also be used as a cosmetic modification to enhance the beauty of the tooth.
Bridge
A fixed bridge is a set of three or more crowns fixed together, in which the middle crown replace the missing teeth. The other two crowns covers your own teeth which are used as anchors.
A bridge cannot be removed and looks very natural like original teeth.
Partial and complete dentures
Partial and complete dentures or removal dentures and replaces many (partial) or all (complete) missing teeth respectively.
Depending on location of your missing tooth dentures can make your smile look aesthetic.
Partial dentures also presents movements of the other tooth in the gap created by the missing tooth.
